Its been a whole, what, 2 years since i made my last update post? oops! I'm really bad at posting aren't i?

Well lets just say, i've had a lot going on. Mostly college stuff. I will finally be free from the chains of college next spring, so hopefully that'll mean i can finally sit down and finish my story projects i've been slowly chipping away at.

Oh yeah...about my stories. So, in pretty much all my previous posts i mentioned that i would be making graphic novels. Well i tried to make one comic page for one of my stories as a test and i realized "wow, it's going to take me an eternity to finish this by myself, idk if i can do this" so i have since switched to making my stories written novels with images sprinkled inside every so often. It serves as a good compromise for me, I can tell my story in a more timely manner, and still get to draw stuff in the book! It's a win-win for me.

I've been writing bits and pieces of stuff during the little free time i've had in these busy college months, and what is it im working on exactly? Well, a few things.

First, My main project is a Sci-Fi/Thriller series called "Victims of Science" and its about a group of teens who, one by one, have their lives ruined by a sketchy lab owned by an equally sketchy megacorp just outside of their rural town. I have bits and pieces of this book written down (mostly the beginning), but when i am finally given more free time, i'll be able to write more. Its been my biggest story project for a large part of my life and i'd love to get it out there as soon as i get the time.

Second, I also started working on some short stories based on rollercoasters at Kings Island. Does that sound silly out of context? yeah, i bet it does, but trust me its actually different than you think. I'm writing stories based on the theming of the rides, if that makes any sense. Like a beast who terrorizes a mining operation (the beast), An abandoned lumber mill thats home to a mysterious being who lives in "the shed" (mystic timbers), you get the gist. I will be working on editing the prologue and writing chapter 1 of "the beast" story, and i will be posting it on Ao3 and Royal Road. Why those? Cus they're the only actual good writing platforms ive found thus far. Look guys its either that or i go back into the trenches of Wattpad, and i am NOT going back to wattpad. Eugh.

I originally planned for these coaster-inspired stories to be published books, but I instead decided to post them online for everyone to read, to give people a taste of what I write. How soon will i begin posting these stories? i dunno, i wanted to have the prologue and chapter 1 for "the beast" posted this month as a halloween treat, but im not sure if that will come to fruition. We shall see.

Also in case you didn't notice, im obviously not doing another month-long october art thing this year. Sorry, too busy to do one this time. I do hope to make at least some spooky art this month though. Again, we shall see. Depends on how much free time i can get.
